“ 'Andras Stieber put his injury frustrations behind him to become a regular fixture in Villa's U21 side during 2012-13.

The Hungarian midfielder played 20 times for Gordon Cowans' team in the Barclays U21 Premier League.

He also managed one goal in the 3-2 win over Stoke City in October.

It was a big boost for Stieber who saw most of his 2011-12 campaign written off with a second long-term injury.

He had already fought back from a cruciate problem to figure for the reserves and youth sides in the second half of 2010-11.

Stieber made several impressive appearances for the second string - including a fine display in the 10-1 win over Arsenal at Hinckley.

Unfortunately his season ended early again when he sustained another injury in a defeat against Wolves reserves at Compton.

The talented midfielder was on the periphery of Villa's run to the FA Youth Cup final in 2009-10, mainly appearing as a substitute.

But he impressed when called upon at youth level and managed to get himself on the scoresheet on several occasions in the Premier Academy League.'
